SYNOPSIS
Two guys + one hot air balloon + two squirrels = our entry into "The Original Alamo Drafthouse Blanks on a Blank Competition". It was a contest that challenged
film-makers to make their own animal/vehicular disaster movie, a spoof of "Snakes on a Plane".
CONTEST REQUIREMENTS
After registering online, each team was given a random animal and a random vehicle, and had to create a 2 to 5 minute film using that combination.
REVIEWS
"I turned this movie down. And I'm in 30 movies a year!"
— S. Jackson
DIRECTOR'S COMMENTS
"This was by far the biggest budgeted Dog Food Production. Several hot air balloon rentals were necessary to film the many angles and numerous takes, and after the professionally-trained squirrels failed to deliver satisfactory performances, they were replaced at great expense by Stan Winston-designed animatronics. All worth it in the end for the realism we acheived, I'd say."
